Sorry to hear about your bummer of a new year, Joe. I sure hope things get more positive for you.
The last time I got called for jury duty, I was initially chosen to serve on the jury. During the screening, I managed to convince the DA, the defense lawyer, and the judge, that I was unable to be an impartial juror for this particular case, and I was excused. I don't have to be concerned about it now (one of the benefits of retirement).
