Are there any movies, that are more documentary styled that explain the Roman gods and goddesses? I know a good deal about Greek mythology, but I am at a loss for the Roman version. I am not really sure if I studied it or not.
I'm afraid there aren't as much movies about the Roman religion as there are about Greek one. However, the two are very similar and have a large number of common gods (with slightly different names). There is, nonetheless, a documentary series (called "The Lost Gods") that reviews various religions. There is a section about the Roman mythology. From what I can gather, the Romans were very eager to align their mythology with that of the Greeks so their stories are either the same or at least very similar to theirs.
